Sharks name Super14 squad for 2010

Sharks named their Super14 squad for 2010 with not to many surprises, although one still sees problems in the backline.
The lack of depth here is a scary one as one shudders to think if someone like Ruan Pienaar got injured?
The squad however does have a good mix of experience, and youth who have stepped up a level, add to that a few new recruits.
Along with the 3 new recruits in” Albert’s, Ludick and Mostert” come the new kids on the block, these include the likes of” Wiehahn Herbst, Patric Cilliers, Patrick Lambie, Michael Rhodes and Lwazi Mvovo” to name some.
Almost half the squad have represented the Springboks and many others at age group level.

    Sharky, I feel the sames. COME HOME BUTCHIE, FRANSIE AND BARRITT…. 🙁 Butchie’s knees will be done the time he comes home. Fransie has another two years in France unless we or saru can buy him out, that is if he wants to come home. Barritt I think is lost to England, already played in the Saxons. What I would do to have those 3 still at the Sharks though.

    Sharky, not too impressed with Monty this last Saturday. Ruan made a difference when he came on, now if he got injured that would be disaster. What about Patrick Lambie? Could he play FH?
