We as Blue Bull supporters say thank you to Victor and his team. You made us so proud. We thank the whole Blue management and Coaching staff. The joys of being a Bulls supporter can only be understand by a true Blue supporter.
It would take days to get over all this euphoria and true to the jealousy in SA rugby the rest of SA wont give us a day to celebrate. Now its all forgotten, the CC never happened in their eyes. What a convenient distraction, the EOYT happens to be. We have weeks to discuss that, now today and tomorrow is still CC weekend. Allow us our day , tomorrow the Bulls will go on a tour through Pretoria, be there. This is unique, maybe we wont see it ever again. A SA side having all the trophies.
A farewell message from the Bulls website
With the Absa Currie Cup as well as the Vodacom Super 14 trophy at Loftus Versfeld, 2009 has indeed been the Bulls’ most successful year.
The team managed to deliver one superb performance after the other and these guys will be in the chronicles of Blue Bulls rugby for years to come.
Well done to Victor Matfield and his teammates. You have been absolutely marvelous throughout the season and to finish the season like this is a huge bonus for all the passionate Blue Bulls supporters.
A lot of credit must also go to Frans Ludeke and all his assistants as well as every single member of the Bulls’ medical/fitness and management team. Rugby is a team sport and without the contribution of these individuals the Blue Bulls would not have been able to play top class rugby for ten months in a row.
Bravo the Bulls!
Enjoy tonight’s festivities and see you again in 2010.

Kan ek byvoeg dalk is dit goed dat die jong Stutte eers bietjie meer ervaring kry voor hulle vir die Noordelike Wolwe gegooi word. Tyd is aan hulle kant. Glad nie n slegte besluit deur PdV en keurders nie.

Puma , the Bulls will miss Habana , he leaves a major gap in the team. He finished of everything he did yesterday. Even that brave kick off nobody wanted to field.
If i have to be critical against the Bulls , it will be the way Victor deals with the ref. He must try and talk less and be more decisive.

Yes Habs will leave a huge hole there for sure. Just like Frans Steyn has at the Sharks.
Bulls should look to buy Mapoe…hehehe. Will have some Cheetahs on my back soon.
Matfield is always like that with the ref. Maybe just the way he is.
Anyhow Bulls make me proud too even if I am a Shark supporter. This has to be their best year ever. Enjoy it Super your team made you very proud. Good to see they going through the streets of Pretoria tomorrow. Going to be a great day for their supporters.

Your team also played very well yesterday. Always enjoy watching Cheetahs. They only know one way and that is to run it. Great rugby by both teams. Bulls just too strong in the end. But well done to Cheetahs for giving it their best and it was a great final to watch by both teams.

Puma i think the Bull supporters must start a fund to buy out Habana from his WP contract, Habana himself might contribute a million himself to that. He really was part of the Blue family and his heart must feel empty now.
Loftus is a hard place, that alleged forward pass wont go off unnoticed when it is against the Bulls and the boooo,s will be deafening. He will soon experience the Loftus crowd the other way around.
@ superbul as laaitie het ek met die trein van brakpan na pta gery en dan loftus toe geloop om cheetah/bulls games daar te gaan kyk en ek moet se dat die atmosfeer altyd ongeloofluk was was in 2005 ook daar en het nog nooit dedreig of in gevaar gevoel daar nie.dis seker een van die top sport venues in die wereld sokker ingesluit

Ek was amper daai jaar ook Loftus toe , gelukkig nie die trip van Hoedspruit af gevat nie. Dis ver as jy met n seer hart moet terug ry.
Maar jou span het goed gespeel gister toe daai telling 24-14 word het my hart so ruk gegee en later toe daai verskil net 6 was dog ek dis kisboude vir ons. Die 2 minute na rustyd het my nerves gesettle, toe was die Bulle wild.
nou ja dan maak ek ma kla weer eens sorry my cheetahs meskien volgende jaar, bulle geluk, en oor die bokke gaan daar baie gepraat word maar game time shout ek julle hart siel en p!@l cheers almal geniet julle sondag

The Bulls gave us this year all we dreamed about , what a awesome team, the results favored us this year. With so many game breakers together in one team it will be very hard to swallow a defeat.
