OK, who performed, and who did not:
Loosehead Prop: Trevor Nyakane was not on long, Steven Kitshoff played well
Hooker: Malcolm Marx was good, Mbonambi was poor
Tighthead prop: Thomas du Toit had a good game, so too Frans Malherbe
Locks: Marvin Orie is simply not Bokke material. Lood de Jager had a very good game (awarded Man Of The Match), so too Nikolaas Janse van Rensburg
Flanks: Siya Kolisi tackled well and never gave up, Franco Mostert was solid as ever. Kwagga Smith not a great match
No 8: Jasper Wiese tried hard, Dan du Preez was OK
Scrumhalf: Cobus Reinach was solid, Jaden Hendrikse was average
Flyhalf: Handré Pollard very good at posts and solid overall
Centres: Damian de Allende was very solid, Lukhanyo Am had a good game
Wings: Makazole Mapimpi was solid and scrored his 4th try against the Pumas. Cheslin Kolby was solid
Fullback: Willie le Roux was a playmaker and had a solid match… ran a bit lateral at times. Damian Willemse not on too long but did OK
