Franco Mostert: Bloody hard worker, did what was needed

Pieter-Steph du Toit: Would have been my 2nd choice for Man Of The Match
Francois Louw: Too quiet
Faf de Klerk: Kept the Springboks on the front foot and staunch on defence
Handré Pollard: Solid, dead-eye-dick at goal, good with ball in hand
Damian de Allende: Scored a good try… but I think the Springbok midfield ran too lateral in stead of straightening the line
Jesse Kriel: Scored a very good try… but I think he also ran too lateral
Cheslin Kolbe: Not his best game but he still scored a vital try and he puts in the heart and passion and effort. Maybe a bit light on defence.
Aphiwe Dyantyi: Mixed bag, number of knocks from balls in the air, couple of penalties conceded… but he is a bright prospect.
Willie le Roux: Solid, stable, good options
Replacements:
Bongi Mbonambi: Not our best 2nd choice hooker, full stop
Vincent Koch: The jury is out on him…
Tendai Mtawarira: On a bit short to really rate
RG Snyman: A bit anonymous… but he is the obvious lock replacement
Sikhumbuzo Notshe: Not on very long… but a bit light in the pants for this type of game
Embrose Papier: Not ready for Test rugby at this level yet
Damian Willemse: He will grow into the role, one sublime break… I have no problems with his presence

The Springboks need to continue to improve and it is bloody time they never lose again against any world nation except less than half of the time against the All Blacks and possibly only on the odd occasion against the likes of Ireland or England… and once in many, many games against France… nah never against France either!
I do not want to see a loss again against Los Pumas, Wallabies, Wales, Scotland, Italy… and heavens forbid Japan!
We must stop the rot… and I think the Springboks have gone some distance towards that goal…
The Springboks MUST work their way back up to at least No 2 in the World Rankings… and eventually challenge and hold the No 1 spot.
The All Blacks are not invincible… and I sense a slight drop in their usually high standards… but damn, they are still bloody good!
