Yip agree its too close to call, and especially with you saying Australia have 3 fetchers in their squad means the battle and breakdown will be interesting – lets see who can adapt to the refs handling of that the best – George Smith will have so much experience on his side but have not seen him play in ages, do you think he is fit enough to last whole game? The two forwards you mention are a big blow but to be honest don’t think Warburton has reached the high levels of play he did at World Cup 2011 in a while and while he when at the top of his game he is probably the better all round loose forward from what I’ve seen this year I rate Tipuric as the better fetcher, so hope Tipuric gets a good amount of time to show what he can do.
Regarding O’Driscoll – he has played 8 in Lions tests and won …. 2, how many Six Nations titles has he lead Ireland to and where did Ireland end up on the table this year. Interesting O’Driscoll played in their first game where Ireland beat Wales (7 out of the 10 Wales starters for today started that game and they were captained by Warburton, Alan Wyn Jones missed that one to injury I think) but it was pretty much downhill from there, losing in last game to Italy where he picked up a yellow card.

    @ Bullscot:
I think Smith will go for 90 if they require that
I think we will only really know the extent of the team psyche regarding the BoD dropping once the first player books’ are published.
Maybe it had a detrimental effect on some, but the combination at center is more settled today
Warburton had a good game last week, but we will see whether his leadership will be missed
There are very good players in the Lions team, but no real leaders
The Aussies have Horwill and Genia
Smith is held in very high regard and the younger guys will really look up to him
