    122 @ grootblousmile:
Oh dear but I suppose its nit picking from me to highlight this when they are scoring tries for fun, but in tight games these things (missed kicks) can come back to hurt you.

  • 131

    New Zealand Under-20s (30) 59 – 6 (6) Fiji Under-20s (76′)

  • 138

USA not the team to measure yourself against… they knew very little about tackling, that is for sure.

But I must say, there some serious speed in some of the Bokke backline okes!

  • 139

    136 @ superBul:
    Cheers!

    Im out too

    Goeie nag, slaap sag!

  • 140

    New Zealand Under-20s (30) 59 – 6 (6) Fiji Under-20s (FT)

    Tries Savea (0), Collins (3, 68), Fuatai (31, 60), Visinia (37), Dam (45), Scrafton (54), Manihera (78)

See Savea scored his try on the zero minute mark, wonder how many seconds passed before it was scored

    133 @ superBul:
Yes superBul this is what my concern is then as so much has been made of Pollard and next year he (or whichever other flyhalf gets the inside track) will have to step up at the Bulls to fill Morne Steyn’s boots. It was interesting for me to see Tuks play Willie du Plessis at flyhalf with Pollard at centre, seeing this team made me wonder if they did this in consultation or even on request of Dawie Theron.

  • 142

    @ Bullscot:
Maybe we will see a Bulls team next year that wont rely on the boot of their number 10, we might get these great backs we bought running riot. Wishful thinking? Not really, i see a great thing coming.
The Stormers will have to teach their team from scratch how to play with ball in hand, remember practice makes perfect, exciting times await us.
    Be brave

Sewes-sensasie se ouers, Vrystaat bars van trots

WELKOM.

Meer as tien was boere.

Senatla se suster, Pulane (25), is ’n chemiese ingenieur.

Still under 17 and still in matric, he soon took giant strides in that direction by blitzing the 100m in 10.6secs.

“I loved running. I watched Marion Jones running on TV,” the 19-year-old recalls.

Senatla’s speed soon got him noticed and a call from Jacques Juries, the coach at the Harmony Sports Academy, was the encouragement he needed to start playing rugby seriously.

“I thought I was going to go to CUT (Central University of Technology) in Welkom but in 2011 I joined the Academy. Last year CUT in Bloemfontein offered me a sponsorship so I went there. I got called up by the Cheetahs and played Under-19 and Under-21,” he says.

Then national Sevens coach Paul Treu came knocking with the offer of a two-year contract. Naturally the speedster jumped.

“You can just express yourself so much more when you are playing Sevens,” he says.

On his future goals he says: I would really like to play in the Olympics in 2016.”

    @ superBul:
Its a shame the Bulls don’t have poaching money left to buy themselves a forward pack……

  • 146

    145 @ Bliksem:
Let’s count the current Springboks in the Bulls pack… Spies, Flip, Juandre (going to France), Arno, Chiliboy – that is 5
Now let’s count players who have played for the Bokke in the past who are not current Bokke…. Jacques Potgieter (going overseas), Dewald Potgieter, Deon Stegann, Werner Kruger & Dean Greyling (useless) – that is another 5.
So Bulls have 10 Bokke in their pack alone of which 2 are going overseas and 1 is useless, so it leaves 7… which is more than WP / Stormers have in total.
Now go look at the Bulls champion Under 21 side as well as the Bokkies Under 20 side and go count the Bulls forwards…

Now let’s do exactly the same at WP / Stormers, current Bokke in the pack… Eben, Siya – that is 2
Now let’s count players who have played for the Bokke in the past who are not current Bokke…. Duane Vermeulen (longer term injury), Andries Bekker (going to Japan), Schalk Burger (has not played for 2 years), Tiaan Liebenberg – that is another 4.
So WP / Stormers have 6 Bokke in the pack in total of which 3 are has-beens / crocked.
Now go count the Under 20 WP forwards in the Bokkies… hehehe

It’s a pity the Stormers / WP don’t have money left to purchase better supporters than you…

Oh, but don’t let facts spoil a great illusion for you, Chop!
