With a first half where the Sharks absolutely controlled territory and possession, the Sharks laid the foundation for their 4-point win.
In a hard fought match and terrential rain deep in the second half, the Blue Bulls attacked hard but the resolute defence of the Sharks held.

At the end of it all, 3 games cost the Bulls this Currie Cup… The 1-point Cheetahs loss at Loftus, the 1-point Pumas loss at Mbombela and the 3-point loss against Wp at Newlands.
If they had had a home semi, things could have been different.
All spilt milk, nothing we can do about it, it’s done and dusted.
