The Golden Lions Rugby Union announced the MTN Lions team to play in their second match of the 2012 Vodacom Super Rugby competition against the Hurricanes on Friday, 2 March 2012 at a press conference this afternoon.
Lions coach John Mitchell has included playmaker flyhalf Elton Jantjies in the team to take on the Southern Kings in a warm-up match in George on Tuesday.

The MTN Lions will be playing the DHL Stormers in their first warm up match of the 2012 season on Friday, 27 January 2012 at DHL Newlands Stadium in Cape Town. Kick off is at 7pm.

The Highlanders hosted the Hurricanes at Rugby Park, Invercargill. They won the game with brilliant discipline in defense. One try was scored just before half time after a brilliant cross kick by Jimmy Cowan to Ben Smith.
