Let me be the first to say that we were treated to a festival of cricket and fun with both team’s players doing their utmost to give time to fans and at the same time try put up a spectacle worthy of these high class sportsmen, and so they did.
Firstly I have to thank Krystle Geach at the Lions for this kind gesture and consideration, it is appreciated, and we’ll put the tickets to good use. This set me thinking… in addition to the Lions tickets, maybe I should approach the other 4 Super Rugby Franchises for match day tickets as well, and here’s why!
The quarter-final line-up for this season’s Heineken Cup is taking shape following the penultimate round of pool action. Munster’s 12-year streak of reaching the Heineken Cup quarter-finals was brought to an end by a 32-16 defeat in Toulon on Sunday as the debutant French club secured their own place in the last eight. On a weekend when even the English Premiership’s headline fixture between Chelsea v Manchester United was postponed due to arctic conditions, it was perhaps no surprise that two Heineken Cup Round Four fixtures also fell victim to the incredibly cold weather. |
