The Bulls have named a formidable team to take on The Cheetahs on Friday night. However, we never argue about who is absolutely rubbish, we all know that, well most of us anyway. So, instead of writing about how good some players are, I have decided to concentrate on the more forgetful guys, the guys that history will NOT remember, and history has some very good reasons not to. Cheetahs coach Naka Drotské has made a few shock selections for Friday’s Super14 opener against the Bulls. Drotske’s 22-man squad includes seven Super14 rookies and the new blood may just be what the Cheetahs need to start the competition on a winning note. Before Monday in Nagpur, South African strike bowler Steyn, was generally most renowned for his lethal out-swingers at pace. Suddenly, though, shell-shocked India – and the world, too – have learned of his new-found ability to bend the ball the other way on a sustained basis. |
