PUMA the official technical and apparel partner of the Vodacom Bulls has unveiled 3 new Super Rugby kits, inspired by the stars.

Nicknamed the Stellar Kit, this season sees the introduction of a signature Black kit – brought to life with an orange and red ombrè effect across the front of the jersey, a traditional Blue kit and a re-appearance of the popular Pink kit. The Vodacom Bulls will take to the field in the specially designed pink kit for one of their home games to show their support of CANSA (Cancer Association of South Africa) and those persevering in the fight against cancer.

PUMA South Africa’s Marketing Director, Brett Bellinger says there is something for everyone in the new kits which feature a Bull imprinted across the front with reflective material embellishments.

“The new black kit takes inspiration from the star-filled night sky, which is fitting for the Bulls – the stars in their own right, and makes for a great signature kit. The blue kit is for the traditional Bulls supporter and the return of the hugely successful pink kit is available in a ladies cut only – with exception of the Team who will wear the kit in support of CANSA,” Bellinger says.

Barend van Graan, CEO of the Blue Bulls Company, says: “Our partners at PUMA have once again exceeded our expectations in producing yet another amazing series of kits for our Vodacom Super Rugby season. We are truly privileged to be associated with a brand that works tirelessly to make the Vodacom Bulls a real trendsetter in world rugby. The players, our stars, are extremely excited to don the new kit, and I believe our fans will be just as excited.”

The new Super Rugby shirt will be available at PUMA stores as well as select retailers nationwide from 4 December 2015 with a recommended retail price of R 749.00.

Like the new kit a lot, especially the away one. Please Santa have been a very good boy this year Angel

Good on the Bulls and Puma for the pink kit that will be used in one game in support of CANSA. The choice of 3 jerseys is good for the supporters too, it should widen the scope of the market.

  • 3

Wonder if the away one with predominantly red and black colours was designed to help the new guys from the Kings feel more at home Happy

  • 4

    I quite like the kits

    The blue one’s not bad.

    Devilish

but seriously, “inspired by the stars”? WTF is up with that bullshit?

  • 7

“The new black kit takes inspiration from the star-filled night sky,…”

Doesn’t matter where they get their inspiration from, they’ll still be bottom dwellers…

Hi Nama go and sit in on the naughty step you bad boy Star Struck

    @ Bullscot:
But it’s still true. Did you see the preliminary Bulls squad? Lots of Boks but all of them a bunch of shouldnothavebeens. How does a back line like this inspire any confidence:

    15. Galant
    14. JJ Engelbrecht
    13. J. Kriel
    12. Serfontein
    11. Basson
    10. Pollard
    9. Page

No other SA team can boast that many Boks in the back line, I believe… 6 out of the 7.

The one jersey looks like they tried to rip off the Chief’s colors.

You mean…”a lot of ex Boks?”

If Toetie takes over then they will be known as ex Boks 😉

De Jongh in for Kriel, Coleman in for Pollard 😀

    The Bulls pack:
    1. Nyakane
    2. Strauss (c)
    3. Kruger
    4. Hattingh
    5. Orie
    6. Stegman
    7. Lappies
    8. Arno Botha

I thought the exact same thing; shame, it’s the closest they’ll get to the cherished trophy for the next few years.

Haha… then the Bulls fans can bitch and moan for the immediate future about selections by the coach. Delighted

But really, if you look at those names you ask yourself, how did som of them becaome Bok players. Then you remember…ahhh…HM was the coach. Wink

“…it’s the closest they’ll get to the cherished trophy for the next few years.”

It nearly worked for Stormers in 1999 with our “Men in black” campaign. Maybe they’re onto something. Liar

    Delighted

12: Verkeerd, Burger in Pollard se plek. 🙂

  • 20

With their many different colours for next year and their propensity to play inconsistent rugby, good the one week and very poor the next, the Bulls may just as well change their name to The Chameleons.

    Suits the better.

  • 21

    @ Ben-die-Bul:
“Gee vir Ackers ‘n kans !”

    Op grond waarvan?

Een CC oorwinning… AC het TWEE.
Vertoning in SR…AC se rekord is beter.
Spelpatroon…

Nee man, as daar ‘n keuse moet wees tussen AC, Ackers en HM, dan wen AC loshande.

  • 22

My but you are such an a cheery encouraging fellow Tounge-Out

  • 24

At least the Bulls will be visible next years unlike when they played in the camo kit… or will they with this chameleon thing going on?

    Pondering

  • 25

    POLITIEK ?

Hi nortie, the Chiefs have bulls on their tops? Good taste if they do Approve

  • 29

When the Lions lost 4 out of 5 games at the start of the SR season, everybody said that Ackers is out of his depth as a coach at SR level and that he needed Mitchell to hold his hand.

Less than a year later some people see him as the top candidate from SA to replace HM. How quickly we forget?

  • 30

    @ Ben-die-Bul:
