So long Victor, Bryan, FdP, Ruan, Schulk and most likely a few others. (I’m not sure about Dr Jannie and JPP).

And thanks a million for the entertainment over so many years.

    @ cane:
The camera happened to focus on Doc Jannie during the Afrikaans part of the National Anthem last night & the way he was singing I got the distinct impression that HE KNEW he was singing it for the last time…

How you boet? Hope well. I agree with all your posts. And pollard has been terrible this whole year not only in this world cup but Super Rugby and RC but he gets backed and backed and vacked. How many chances has Pat had? Just about none had he got that many chances he would have been truly great by now but you cant get 10 min or 5 min game time and expect to be your best. Even when it was coear that Pat should have come on way earlier last week when Poolard was costing us dearly with his tactical kicking Meyer kept him on for what? Today a nothing game as we playing Arg 2nd side surely pat playing his 50th cap should have started and Paige too so much better than Ruan.

Boet I am with you on Meyer if he loves the Boks so much he should step down if he has been given another 4 years as we have been plain rubbish under him except for one year. We were totally rubbish in this nothing game as well. If anything Elton should have been there with Pat as our 2 flyhalves as Elton was the in form Flyhalf this SR. Against Japan the whole team were rubbish and especially our forwards so you cant expect too much from your FH and Pat had to start that game with Ruan playing who should not be there. If Meyer last week wanted us to have a good tactical kicker on he should have started with Pat or brought him on much much earlier than he did. If he backed and backed and backed Pat even if he made mistakes you would see a worldmclass FH by now. But if Pat makes one mistake he is dropped back to the bench if Poolard has a shocker after shocker he just keepa getting backed. The mind boggles. And no way could we have Morne start as his defence is very poor. Meyer should be fired simply as that . If he has been given another 4 years we in huge huge trouble. He then needs to get in a New Zeland forwards coach like Plumtree who I believe is interested in coaching with the Boks and most definitely a NZ backline coach and surround himself with great coaches otherwiae come next world cup we will be 10th in the world not lucky to be 3rd. We were totally crap in this world cup he left behind some of the very best players as well.

Howzit my kiwi brother. How you doing Cane? Hope well.

I am supporting your team in the final. Left my message on the Ab/oz final for wc thread.

Off to watch the game now and bet we see a cracking game. Hope your ABs win back to back worls cups. Wish it was a Bok/AB final thats my dream final but our Boks are not up to it this year maybe next time if we get a new Coach. A NZ coach would be great. Good luck for the final and all the vest to your team boet.
