    1. Ons het ‘n skrumskakel diepte probleem in SA, wat gehalte spelers met ondervinding aanbetref, maar op heelagter kan ons paar kies… Willie, Mvovo, Kriel (wat by die laaste Bok Training Groepe betrokke was), Lambie (as ons Jantjies ook saamvat as 3de losskakel).
    2. Fourie du Preez is nog heeltyd in die Bok-kringloop en planne, kan nie dieselfde sê van Aplon nie.
    3. Ja, ek is bekommerd oor Fourie se huidige vorm en gebrek aan onlangse wedstryde… maar op ‘n baie kak dag is Fourie du Preez steeds strate beter en takties meer opgewasse as enigiets wat ons in SA het… en hy verstaan hoe Heyneke Meyer se visie werk.

    Nou kan ek jou vraag op jou omkeer, hoekom ‘n ou amper afgetrede oorseese speler soos Aplon, maar nie Fourie du Preez nie? Het dit met waar Aplon gespeel het in SA teenoor waar Fourie du Preez in SA gespeel het te doen (in jou geval soos met beide Pollard en Jan)?

    A great squad effort by Glasgow through the season, tonight’s win was achieved without injured first choice centre pairing Dunbar and Bennett, and there were quite a few props also injured (at one point in the season a handful of props were injured at the same time) and Tyrone Holmes, and big lock Tim Swinson, with another lock Tom Ryder leaving during the season that’s just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

    Nou van wanner af is Aplon amper afgetree? Jy praat seker van FdP.

    FdP is seder Maar/April in SA. Nog geen wedstryd vir die tyd gespewel nie, maar tog sal jy hom kies as skrumskakel. Op grond waarvan? Sy wedstryd in 2007 teen Engeland in die WB?

    Sover dit Janneman en Pollard betref. Jy kan tog nie vir my se dat jy hulle op huidige vorm in jou Bokspan gaan kies nie. Die enigste rede waarom julle ouenes hulle kies, is op grond van hul reputasie op junior vlak. Op senior rugby vlak, het hulle nog niks bewys nie.

    Beide is in dieselfde jaar gebore, Fourie du Preez is in direkte verbinding met Heyneke Meyer en Ian Schwarz (Bok Spanbestuurder) het net verlede week gesê Fourie gaan sy terugkeer maak na die Bokke teen die World XV oor net meer as ‘n maand of so.

    Nou kom ons vergelyk waar Aplon staan… hy speel oorsee, is nie in direkte verbinding met Heyneke Meyer nie en geen sprake daarvan bestaan in die Media dat hy te eniger tyd gereed gemaak word om weer vir die Bokke te speel nie.

    Difficult to pick a team of 31 for the world cup at this stage as there is still about 5 games for the springboks.

    So time for players to prove themselves still. While we are thin in some positions, in others poistions especially loose forwards there is going to be some serious disappointments. And no doubt people will select teams in hindsight.

    Nie om snaaks te wees nie, maar Jaques DuP se uitsluiting kan nie afgeskryf word agv van diepte of kwotas nie maar dood eenvoudig omdat hy te kaksleg is om vir die Bipokke te speel.
    Carr en Kolisie is strate beter as hy en baie meer effektief, so hulle verdien om bo hom te speel.
    Kriel is n ander storie, hy sal verdien om n Bok te wees
