Should have kicked to posts just now, couple of minutes ago!!

Problem is Pollards Pole kicking has been abysmal this match

I also think it was worth taking the risk to get 2 bonus points, the Bulls were really not in a position to play it safe.

I just think the Bulls are incapable of rational thought at the moment – that penalty just out from the Chiefs line was a prime example. They tried to take a quick tap to surprise the Chiefs (good idea), but when they were called back for some reason, rather than take stock, think about kicking to poles (still loads of time left in the match), what do they do? Take another quick tap when all the Chiefs are back in a defensive position and the move was nullified. Stupid basic non thinking error.

Jaco Visagie not much better than Calie, so there goes the “there has to e someone better at Tuks” argument.

  • 153

    @ Pietman:
I can’t see the Bulls with Pollard & Paige producing miracles, neither the Sharks without Lambie & Rainach?
The Bulls were not bad, just that persistent with kicking away the damn ball and dropping passes (or drops by the ball carriers) killed them today

Poor Bulls! What can one say?

How did Pollard and Janneman fare? From the looks of it, Pollard was crap but not so much has been said about Janneman. Usually an indication that he didn’t do well.

Well, well…they should be selected for the Boks in any case, so no worries.

Disappointed in the Bulls, my first pick was Chiefs by 14, then I thought the Bulls would get much closer, and I stupidly changed it to Chiefs by 3.

Give Jaco more gametime, preferably at Loftus, Callie had two years and he’s still crap

    No the argument still stands

There MUST be a better hooker than Callie in the Bulls/Blue Bulls Union

If Callie is the second best hooker in the Union the Bulls are in even deeper shit that we thought

The Chiefs handling and running game is too slick for most teams…why the bulls persist with the up and under with only one chaser..I don’t get

    @ MacroPolo:

Dit was my vraag.

I see that that “monster at 110kg” (as Tac once called him), Rohan Janse van Rensburg scored a try for the Lions against the Pumas in a losing bid to get to the finals of the Vodacom Cup. Wonder when we’ll see him in full Lions colours or in Bok colours for that matter. Apparently he was the ideal player to be used as a “battering ram” at inside centre…even ahead of Janneman nogal.

    @ Nama:

    and very poor defense.

    @ Nama:

    @ MacroPolo:
Even with all our supposed superior depth and amount of players, we only have two viable options at 10. HM has invested in Pollard and Lambie, so with Lambie injured Pollard must be the incumbent.

SA fly halfs are there to slot penalties and hoof the ball downfield as their primary task, anything more is a bonus.

In the midfield we are not better off, yes, a few players are looking good in the SR, but are still untested in international rugby. So Jan will play, he has not been outplayed in the test side

Hi nortie don’t forget there is still Morne Steyn as well.

    @ Bullscot:
Haven’t forgotten about him completely, but I can’t see him usurping both Pollard and Lambie at this stage
