  From the same site : The Sharks overcame the visiting Force, led by fullback SP Marais. Heineke Meyer is now in the strange position where four of the five South African Super Rugby fullbacks (led by Marais) are on our Top Fullbacks list — with the incumbent Springbok the only one missing. Interesting to note the guy who seems to get a lot of flak (SP Marais) is number 3 in their list behind Israel Folau and Ben Smith. What do you guys who watch Super rugby week in and week out make of their various rankings?

  Also interesting to me is that 3 of SA number 8s are in the top 10 of number 8s in Super rugby according to that site’s ranking – 1. Warren Whiteley, 6 Duanne Vermeulen, 7 Pierre Spies.
  It seems to work on accumulated points so guess that the more game time players get the higher they could generally potentially be on the ranking.
