There has been no change in the Top 12 of the IRB world rankings following the opening round of The Rugby Championship.
Despite seeing their 17-Test win streak end in Sydney thanks to a 12-12 draw with the Wallabies, New Zealand continue to lead the way on 93.42 points.
The Wallabies, courageous in their efforts – and perhaps a little unlucky – remain in third position on 87.32.
The Springboks, 13-6 winners in the rain and hail at Loftus Versfeld against Argentina, hold on to their second spot (89.34), some 4.08 points adrift of the All Blacks.
Argentina, brave in defeat in Pretoria, find themselves down in 12th position ahead of the return fixture against the Springboks in Salta on Saturday (kick-off at 21:40 SA time).
New Zealand and Australia lock horns in the day’s earlier match (09:35 SA Time, 19:35 NZ Time) in Auckland, New Zealand.

Thank goodness we didn’t play against powerhouses like Japan, Samoa or Fiji.
But hey, we sure showed that team lying 12 on the rankings not to come mess with us in our backyard. 🙄
