    @ WP-boytjie:
Having been on the Lions Chairman’s Council when we eventually got rid of Prinsloo and voted K de Klerk in as President, I can tell you for free, that it’s a LONG, DIFFICULT and FRUSTRATING process, that can ONLY be done by those officially involved.

The whole thing can possibly be made easier if their are mass demonstrations or boycotting of games by fans, but in our case this wasn’t the case.

The Lions had been so k@k for so long that the whole supporter base had just about dwindled to nothing so the Unions Exco’ just didn’t give a shit.

Of course the people holding the power within the Union are also factionalised, and that in itself is an issue when it comes to having the President and his cronies expunged.

It took us 2 years of secret meetings, official meetings, forcing changes in the constitution and trading of hard words.

Now, nearly 5 years later, there are still some of the “old boys club” at the GLRU, but slowly the level of professionalism is starting to turn around.

    Good luck.
