    Landers turnover and Landers penalty… arghhhh!

  • 152

    Jeez it is close now Rebs only 3 points behind. Rebels so much better this year and who would have thought, I never for sure.

    Penalty to Landers think that is it over for Rebs.

    Landers 5m out… time is up on the clock

  • 155

    Landers penalty, right in front, pop-over ball

  • 156

    Tap and go it is…

    Final Score: Highlanders 33 / 30 Melbourne Rebels

    At least I start this week with a win from Landers . Think last week both my Friday picks were wrong.

    I think 95% of participants were wrong last Friday.

    Strange finish.
    Landers kick out, go back for penalty, don’t take the points to end the game, tap and go, then kick it out.
    They lucky it wasn’t turned over.
    I can’t remember who I went for or by how much, so it was fun watching.
    Imagine if you went Landers by 6 and then they didn’t take the 3, I would have been to die moer in, so better not knowing what my pick was

  • 161

    Had they took the last penalty by Bru would have been spot on..

  • 162

    I should hang back on Superbru a bit, GBS is heading my way in a hurry! Amazed

  • 163

    @ Scrumdown:
    They probably were. Just that mine are wrong more often than others here. Just not getting it right this year. Though last year I was just as bad on bru with my picks.

    The site is using some serious resources at the Web Host’s server…

    Just going to de-activate the BIG SMILIES and a few things… for a while

    Ouch, precisely what I mentioned in the previous post.
    This next month I have no idea who I went for or by how much.
    I think I went Stormers, Lions and Chiefs that I can recall, but I made so many picks for the next 4 rounds, that I can’t remember them

  • 166

    @ Pietman:Piet who are you on bru? I see a Pietman there and a Pietblou.

  • 167

    A good start… I think I got one pick right last week…

  • 168

    : @ Pietman:

    Happy-Grin gbs is doing welll. Just never thought he would go with Rebs on the Landers turf. Though they came close.

    Interesting thing in one of the pay pools I play it. Tee pool captain created a second entry and called it “home by 6” so every home team he predict to win by 6, no exclusions. 2 weeks ago he was no 104 in the world..

  • 170

    and BTW, I type like a super rugby ref at times, just read it gain and faster to get the drift…

  • 171

    @Gena
    Interesting, 6 is a nice score to go with, at least it covers the 1 or 2 point win as well.
    The home sides have been winning most games this year, and getting a GSP is almost as difficult as teaching Fern manners and etiquette

  • 172

    @Gena
    He would have made a killing in round 6 and that would have propelled him up any leader board big time

    I’m PietBlou, that Pietman is a remnant from my old hotmail address that crashed, I couldn’t activate that nic again , I forgot the password!

  • 174

    @Nortierd.

    Yes it was a killer of a round for him, that pool pays out for every yellow cap winner, so luckily for us he gives it back to the pool

    @ Pietman:

    Okay then yoy doing okay there boert. Better than I am.
