Super RugbyIt is Round 8 of Super Rugby 2014 this weekend! We have 7 games in Round 8, with 2 games on Friday and 5 games on Saturday.

The Cell C Sharks have their 2nd bye weekend.

In June / July 2014 the Antipodian teams will catch up in played games with the South African counterparts, when the South African sides sit out for 1 Round.

The Combined Log will therefore be skewed for the majority of the competition and one has to question why individual countries are allowed to start such a long competition ahead of it’s rivals. In 2013 the Australian sides started a week early, but at least they had the excuse that they needed an extra week in the middle of the year to prepare for the British & Irish Lions series, which they lost.

    @ IAAS:
Now I just need to get the farking Comment Numbering back… eish!

In fact, still a number of things to do:

    1. Comment Numbering
    2. Need to re-scale the Tables (Like the Team Sheets above) and need to decrease the Table line spacings… and maybe need to Style Tables a bit better!
    3. Need to decrease the line spacing in Bullet lists
    4. Need to contrive alternating coulours for comment blocks to keep the comments apart and seperate a bit better
    5. Need to make the Header Fonts on the Sidebar Blocks slightly smaller, so that headings would fit better
    6. Need to decrease the H3 Header size (Typically the Headings of the Table above with Team Names) a tad smaller…

    Any other quick suggestions?

A nice new esthetic lay out of the site, Congrats!
Missing are the posts’ running numbers?
Hope you to rectify it soon, the reference to a specific posting is important!

    Tahs at Newlands
Not a coincidence that a neutral referee was picked again to handle the Stormers
who will have to win it alone, no Jonker to win it for them anymore
The line up isn’t impressive but my man Peter Grant knows what to do!
    😀

    @ grootblousmile:

    Hi GBS

    One other suggestion.

If you can include the number of the post replied to. Just makes it easier to follow conversations.

Once you’ve done the numbering of the posts.

may this be the start of a long road with WP/Stormers…
Good luck to him and the team…!

Or Tootie will bring in a geriatric near paraplegic from Europe and the kid will fukc off somewhere else and the cycle of mediocrity in the Cape will continue.

WP/Stormers problem is NOT the development of young talent, it is the maladministration and management of those youngsters that fails to give them the opportunities they deserve IMO.

Having said that, it’s has been no different in JHB in the last 12 years. Hopefully the “new” dispensation at thew Lions, and Gert Smal at WP can change those errors.

    @ Scrumdown:
Flip I’m on my soapbox early this weekend.

Need to have a few days off and relax.

Farking time conversions for this weekend is a bit of a farkup, with Daylight Savings time changing in New Zealand and Australia at Midnight on Saturday night…
The SA Times for the games are CORRECT!

We could NEVER introduce daylight saving in SA.

Apart from the total b@lls up it would cause with the general population, any savings in daylight gained would immediately be taxed by Pravin, and then misappropriated by numba 1.

    Amazed

    @ Scrumdown:
    Never lose hope!
Interesting to note, Stormers supporters in general are more reluctant to back their team with a wager this season compared to the last few seasons?
It might indicate that the shift to neutral referees didn’t go unnoticed in CT after all?
    😕
