    What this game showed was that the Bulls at Loftus is still another beast, having Vic, Dewaldt and Steggies back makes them a dangerous side and dominating the Sharks up front nullifies them to an extent.
    It must have been quite difficult for the Sharks to lose both Lambie and Reinach in the first couple of minutes, I don’t think any team will cope easily with losing their pivots so soon ( except the Stormers, losing Grant will be a blessing )

    @Stormersboy, morning
    After a good first 4 games, my nemesis side, the Force started the rot, then I got Berried again against the Reds and the Bulls just plain surprised me

    Ja I thought of you when I saw the result. It would take a serious psychic to spot those upsets.

    Problem I have is when I pick the Force, they lose, and when I pick the Lions they might get a ref who actually officiated both sides and will also probably lose. I doubt Berry will be in their pocket again, if SANZAR don’t throw him out after yesterday, they will have no credibility left.
    Waratahs could take the Sharks this weekend

    On a positive note I did jump 20 places in the RT Superbru pool thanks to the Bulls so all is not lost.

    That’s why one shouldn’t take this sort of thing too seriously. Or at least that’s what I keep telling myself!

    I wonder how Gena is feeling this morning.

    @SB
    That’s great, I jumped in my pools for a change as well.
    If they carried on from the morning till after the Bulls game, wow, I would probably be comatose somewhere
    Delighted

    Well done Fiji… Your team was full of speedsters and when you got around our defense you scored. When we got through we were chased down and caught most of the time… A dismal weekend but fortunately the sun came out… Whistling

    In fairness, it wasn’t a walkover, just a 4 points margin at home and at altitude?

  • 381

    @ Hondo:
    It was not a walk over and it was a serious handicap to the sharks losing cobus and pat, but the Sharks were in tatters, I think the game was summed up when Kanko picked up the ball at the back of the scrum and ran and gave a ludicrous chip kick, they did not have a clue what was going on, lucky for them Fransie kept them in touch with the Bulls.

    The Bulls are by no means title contenders, but they sure showed how rattled the sharks can get wean their forwards are taken on… Alberts disappeared, Marcell was a one man loose trio but still got played into the ground by the “average” Stegman.
