TVThe Super Rugby warm-up match between the Vodacom Bulls and DHL Stormers on Saturday in Polokwane won’t be broadcast on TV, as confirmed by SuperSport.

The situation will only change if the two unions (Blue Bulls and WP) or the Polokwane City Council decide to carry the costs involved.

SuperSport broadcast last week’s friendly match between the Cell C Sharks and Saracens, but that was due to them receiving the broadcast rights for free and only needing to pay a joining fee.

The match kicks off at 17:00 SA Time.

In stead, SuperSport will feature 2 Six Nations matches on Saturday (Wales vs Italy – 16:00 to 18:30 SA Time, France vs England – 18:30 to 21:00 SA Time) and a Japanese Rugby Top League semi-final game (Panasonic Wild Knights vs Toshiba Brave Lupus – 06:55 to 09:00 SA Time on SS1 & SHD).

On Sunday, SuperSport will feature the other remaining Japanese Rugby Top League semi-final game (Kobelco Steelers vs Suntory Sungoliath – 06:55 to 09:00 on SS1 & SHD) and a Six Nations game (Ireland vs Scotland – 16:30 to 19:00 SA Time on SS1 & SHD).

Pity that the Bulls / Stormers game won’t be televised, but then again I suppose the Six Nations games are more prominent this time of the season.

We’ll have Live Game Articles for all 3 Six Nations games of the weekend.
