HSBC Sevens World SeriesNelson Mandela Bay SevensThe South African Blitzbokke and the other 15 international teams participating in this weekend’s Nelson Mandela Bay Sevens arrived at the Port Elizabeth International Airport on Monday evening.

The 16 teams arrived on two flights from Johannesburg, with the second flight about half an hour after the first flight.

The Nelson Mandela Bay Sevens tournament marks the last leg of the 2013 part of the 2013 / 2014 HSBC Sevens World series, to be resumed well into 2014.

There were brief visual and interview opportunities at the airport.

All 16 captains of the participating teams will attend the International Captains Signing Session on Tuesday between 13:00 – 14:00 at the Maurice Levin Court in the Green Acres Shopping Centre.

On Wednesday, Port Elizabeth supporters will be able to meet the entire Springbok Sevens squad during a signing session from 14:00 – 15:00 at the Woolworths Court in the Walmer Park Mall.

South Africa will be training daily on the B-field of the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

Meanwhile, Bokkie will also be in Port Elizabeth this week in the build up to the Nelson Mandela Bay Sevens tournament over the weekend.
