FranceFrance head coach Philippe Saint-Andre has made 5 changes to his starting lineup for Saturday’s match with the South African at the Stade de France.

France was back to winning ways when they defeated Tonga 38 / 18 this past weekend after losing to the New Zealand All Blacks the week before.

The team changes sees Wenceslas Lauret back at flank, lock Pascal Pape is back, hooker Benjamin Kayser starts, Wesley Fofana is back at centre and the fullback will be Brice Dulin.

In addition Yoann Maestri who was cleared to play after being cited for punching.

The team is almost the same side beaten by the All Blacks, apart from Sofiane Guitoune, who replaces Maxime Medard.

“This is a team which shows a lot of continuity from the first two games,” said Saint-Andre.

“We are getting ourselves ready for a huge challenge taking on the second best team in the world. They put a lot of intensity into their games and are very physical. It will be a top-class match.”

2 Responses to End Of Year Tours: France name team to play Bokke

This side gave the All Blacks a hard time… probably the hardest one the All Blacks have had in 2013… in fact better than what the Springboks did in The Rugby Championship.

Springboks better be switched on, on high for this game!

@ GBS: Die Franse gee altyd die All Blacks ‘n harde tyd. Ek dink nie hulle gaan te veel hier doen nie. Ek dink wel nie Bokke gaan weg hardloop met die game en wen met 60 punte nie, maar ek nie die Franse gaan veel feature nie.
