ABSA Currie CupIt is just before the Semi-Finals of the Currie Cup Premier Division competition of 2013 in South Africa.

Only 4 teams are still in it to win the competition.

Put your skills to the test here to predict who will eventually walk away with glory and the bragging rights in the competition for 2013. Voting is open to Readers and Registered Subscribers of Rugby-Talk.

    Some interesting initial votes… hell we even have Lion4ever and one of his mates voting for the Golden Lions!

    I’l be honest, I voted for WP… not because I support them in this quest, in fact I don’t, but I think the home teams will win this weekend, leaving 2 left… whereafter I would still think the home side will win.

    It would seem that at this stage that most people think it would be a WP vs Sharks Final.

    Kom nou manne, ons weet wie die ware ‘CB’ gewen het hierdie jaar:

    Die Bulle, reeds met eerste plek op SA konferensie in super15 reeks.

    Hierdie 2 weke is so bietjie mosterd na die maal stories, met HM wat sy arms gaan afkou oor moontlike beserings voor oorsee toer aanbreek in November.

    Huidige rugby seisoen werk nie. Stel voor dat die Junie toere en 4 nasie reeks om die 2 jaar gespeel word, een jaar die een, die volgende jaar die ander een. Dan kan CB weer krag teen krag wees, en kry die manne ekstra kans om te rus as die seisoen nie so lank is nie.

    Maar wie sal nou luister, die tille moet rol, ongeag hoe die spelers afgebreek word en die toeskouers al minder belangstel – kyk maar hoe die pawiljoene leeg word elke jaar al meer.

    Sterkte aan al die spanne wat speel vir die afgewaterde CB, sien baie uit na vanaand se wedstryd.
