What I really like about this WP team is that they are going for it. They aren’t getting as many tries as they are threatening to but they are putting it out there and I like that.

    Well done manne!

    Some real talent coming through.

    Well done Province.

Also well done to my Sharks for fighting back for a bonus point. I thought we were gonna be totally thrashed and to come back from that and get a bonus point was bloody brilliant fight back.

Sharks young coaches should take a lesson from this game. We can not rotate so many players at once each week. 5 changes this week was madness. WE should have started with McLeod, Herbst and Cooper and most definitely Fred. Fred was way better than Butch.

I would also bring back H. Williamse for next week. Shift Tim to outside centre and move Ludik to Fullback. Move SP Marais for now to 14 wing. And leave the rest that started tonight. That would be a better team.

Don’t change for the sake of it. WE need consistency first as a team before the huge changes. If we change it should never again be so many at one time. Knew it would hurt us so many changes.

Still felt great to get a bonus point out of that game. It just might come in handy later on this season.

    @ Puma:
    Morning bru,

Sharks’ goose was cooked the moment Butch ran out in the starting line-up; and then when the experienced Marco Wentzel departed, your scrums, line-outs and clean-outs at the ruck had no more impetus.

Wentzel is a vital cog in the Sharks’ engine this year, he is your new Steve Atherton.
But send Butch out to pastures soonest,at best he is a last 15 minute substitute and then only when your team leads by 20 or so. To start with him ipo of young Fred is just dumb, sorry.

Great win for the WP, what a pity that bad decision making cost us a bonus point!!!! The ball must go wide!!!!
How does SA’s best ref miss some of the smaller things? What is Keegan Daniel doing these days? He needs to concentrate on the ball!!!!
Peet Marais will have to mind his back if he continues to use the boot like that????
What a gem Scarra is!! What a tackle and what a pass!!!
