Sjoe, what a pleasant change to have a coach who announces his team at the start of the week.

Eish. The Lions have this habit of taking decent loose forwards and turning them into locks.

van Heerden, Rhodes, vd Merwe, and now Britz.

I suppose it will give the pack better mobility, but what of the Lions’ achilles heel, the dreaded “lollipop scramble” line out?

    @ Loosehead:
Not too sure if it is wise move; as it eliminates the surprise factor and allows the opposition more time to formulate game plans and strategy to overcome their opponents.

Nice to see Andries Coetzee returning to the bench.

    4 @ Scrumdown:
Great to see A. Coetzee back. A really classy player. Do hope Lions play him at FB because that is where he is at his best. He was probably the best FB in the country last year. Hope he stays injury free as we will see him at his best after a few games.

Well done to your Lions btw. They were brilliant on Saturday. Building a really nice team for next years SR. Pity Britz had to move to lock as he was outstanding last week at 8.

    @ Scrumdown:
Hopefully this is a temporary measure while guys like Kloppers and Breedt regain match fitness. Just not sure when Muller will play. This move will give us mobility, as well extra options at line out time. Looks like JA is trying counter the mobility that Rhodes brings to the WP pack.
