I know Super and you know how terrible I have done this year on bru. I would have climbed about 5 spots or more there had I gone with Chiefs. I wanted to go with them by 2 then put down Saders by 5….. Cry-Out

Piet, Jake has been with Brumbies two years now. If Jake does win, then surely the Aussies might be quite worried they never picked him as their coach. Not too sure about McKenzie coaching their national side. Time will tell I suppose.

Anyhow just don’t see this Brumbies side beating the Bulls. They only travelled here on Monday and they looked terrible last week. Cheetahs should have won that game. Don’t see that number 8 that played against the Sharks there either. Thought we was terrific.

Jake is smart though and he will have worked out how to beat the Bulls. Just don’t think this Brumbies side will. I could be wrong.

Nga, I don’t think the Brumbies will beat the Bulls tonight. Then I could be wrong as Bulls lost bad to Stormers and should have lost to the Sharks as well. So who knows they could lose, I just doubt they will lose to this Brumbies side. They also had a rest last week and have some players back for this game. I have Bulls by 9 to win on bru.

Ag no so even if we win Loftus would miss out on final by 1 point!

    @ Puma:
Ok thx, two years you say…but still, to a semi from nowhere…
Guess you are right, Bulls/Chiefs final in Hamilton.
But you never know what could happen in Canberra should the Brumbies go through today!

@275 And by a 10 mil rand or so, gate fees etc…would you believe the diff 1 point makes!

OK let me go and plant a few trees that will help me to get through the day.

Jake is again getting all the honor but just like in 2007 he have Australian expertise running his back line. He never played a good running game, for him it is all about defense.

    Super,

I feel sorry for the Kings I really do. I also felt really sorry for Lions when they missed out on SR this year. I feel for both the teams and their supporters. We really should go back to the OLD format. Just play each other once that way we could have another team in SA added. If we don’t have to play home and away derby games we could add another team. I simply don’t like this new format. NO need to play home and away derby games. Leave that for CC.

Just read on keo and sarugbymag that there could be a plan of some sort that SR might end come 2016. Then doubt that will happen. Just too much money in it. We just have to go back to the old format and it will work. Even if we miss playing one team from NZ and OZ that brings down the games we have to play if we don’t play the home and away derby games even if we have a extra team in SA. Just have to see what they come up with. I personally would really feel sad if we don’t keep playing with the NZ and OZ teams. Think that is what keeps our rugby strong. Don’t want us to join up in a tourney with ARG alone that would kill our rugby. If we do split then we really have to go up North. Then even that I don’t want. I want us to keep playing the NZ and OZ teams.

Baklei die manne daar in die studio of Jake met HM se wedstrydplan die 2007 wereldbeker gewen het, Nic sê ja en Aswhin nee, wat dink julle ?

    @ Pietman:
Sorry, won’t be in Canberra either, after today…all roads lead to Waikato, it seems.

    276 @ Pietman:
Jake’s Brumbies should have made the play-offs last year Piet. His team missed out by one point to get there. He has done well with no name players that he brought through from last year. If Brumbies go through they play the final in Hamilton. Chiefs ended top so they have earned the right to hold a final. Brumbies fell short by losing to the Force a few weeks back. Not sure how a team can beat the Lions and lose to the Force. Could be players were tired after having to play all the SR games and for Wallabies against the Lions. Have no idea. Then Derby games can go either way even against a team that is not as good as the other. Just happens.

If Jake’s Brumbies win tonight he will be a hero in Oz I can tell you that………hahahaha. No team has gone to Loftus and won a semi there. Bulls should win this one.

Yup, Jake will be a hero for sure, to the utter disgust of some of our former fellow bloggers at Voldy; Skoppie, G10 and those, hehehehehe!
