Coenie Oosthuisen has been ruled out for between 8 – 12 weeks with a back injury, which basically rules him out for the rest of 2012.
On a more positive note, Tertius Daniller, younger brother of Cheetah’s fullback, Hennie is set to join the Cheetahs at the end of the Currie Cup season. He will add to the Cheetahs dwindling looseforward stocks. It is still unclear what Juan Smith’s plans are.
Heinrich Brüssow and Johan Goosen have been operated on and expectations are that Brüssow should be ready in time for Super Rugby, Goosen at the early stages of Super Rugby.
