England bowling well, loads of balls just passing the outside edge

  • 2

Jeeez, been so pre-occupied this side, did not know the Cricket was on…

  • 3

SA 15/0 after 5 overs and two balls

  • 4

I’m mostly a fan of batting second, chasing a total… anybody know why AB in winning the toss decided to bat first?

    Pitch seems to be dry…..

  • 5

    Slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow going eish

  • 6

33 / 0 after 8 Overs…. Biff and Amla now getting in their stride, it seems

  • 7

Biff almost edges one to the slips… lucky 4

He tends to either edge it, to be caught or tends to drag it on…

  • 8

Ya see it’s since i logged on

    Must be…. stay tuned in!

SA 47 / 0 after 9 overs… now batting at over 5 an over already

  • 10

Much better SA 47/0 after 9 overs, Smith 32, Amla 15

  • 11

    9 @ grootblouBokJan:
Snap but you beat me to it GBS, just popped out for a few overs so was a pleasant surprise to see they had accelerated

  • 12

Looks like Finn bowling well, 21 dot balls in his 5 overs

  • 13

    12 @ JanMurrayBok:
Yip, Finn was indeed bowling well… but one needs more than 1 quality bowler

  • 14

    13 @ grootblouBokJan:
Wonder when Anderson is coming on

  • 15

    14 @ JanMurrayBok:
Meant to say wonder when Anderson is coming on again, when he gets it right he can be so hard to bat against, but he is not consistent enough so hopefully won’t be much threat, its probably also too dry there for him to get the swing going and with them playing with two balls the reverse swing with the old ball may not be as much of a factor.

    14 @ JanMurrayBok:
Jeeez, I’m moeg today… was up till after 02:00 this morning busy preparing a whole kaboodle of Opposing Documents, Notice to Oppose and Supporting Affidavit for an Urgent Labour Court Motion matter, for my Brother in Law who can’t afford an Attorney….

… and I was once again reminded why I left the Legal Profession…. sorting other people’s shit out for a living was not fun when I practiced Law.

At least now his papers are in order… and he can go argue the matter himself on Thursday….

Both spinners on, there was talk of the wicket possibly favouring spin so I guess just a cautious start against the spinners rather than the normal onslaught you would like.

  • 18

    17 @ JanMurrayBok:
Very dry pitch for Mud Island

  • 19

    16 @ grootblouBokJan:
Gosh sounds like you’ve had your hands full there man, your brother-in-law is lucky you could help him hopefully he will do a good job of taking it further on his own, probably better to have a lawyer but eish man they are SO expensive

  • 20

    18 @ grootblouBokJan:
They aren’t playing on Mud Island they playing at Southampton Happy-Grin

  • 21

Reg, tyd om gras te gaan sny, hopefully there will be loads more runs by time am done

    19 @ JanMurrayBok:
He was a subscriber to Legalwise…. what a lot of knobs… I would not use or pay them a cent… but anyway…

So in 2003 and 2004 he was awarded an Arbitration Award against the company he had been working for, for unfair dismissal, they (the company) brought an Application for Review to have the award overturned, which they lost.

Brother In Law’s attorneys then had the award Certified in terms of Section 143 of the Labour Relations Act, but the freegin dofkoppe never included his leave pay in the Certification of 22 November 2004.

In the meantime Legalwise and the Attorneys dragged their feet to the extent that the Leave Pay portion had probably prescribed by now in terms of the Prescription Act….

Brother In Law decided to go ahead on the Certified amount only, which only prescribes in 20 years from the date of the Certification, got a Writ of Execution and when the Sheriff of Centurion went to go attach the Comany’s assets, they suddenly woke up and brought this Urgent Application….

Now he has to fight this on his own… eish

Just shows you… pay for a damn proper Lawyer, get the freegin job done….

You don’t use backyard mechanics to fix your Beemer, just as you don’t use backyard Lawyers (the ones Brother In Law used) to fight important Legal Matters…. want êrens gaan DIE kak jou inhaal.

CJ Langenhoven used to say… “A person who acts as his own attorney, has a fool for a client”… and that is what Brother In Law is unfortunately stuck with now.

Biff out for 52… skied one, and Kieswetter, the wetter, caught it

  • 24

    SA 89 / 1 after 19.2 overs

  • 25

Bif was starting to slow down again, just as well he went out

  • 26

    25 @ MaakieSharksAlmalBokkeseJan:
Loskoppie would have asked by now…. is Biff out already… well Loskoppie if you’re tuning in… yes, he’s out!

    Hehehe

  • 27

    SA 100 / 1 after 21.1 overs…. just under 5 an over

  • 28

    Daze @ grootblouBokJan:
