@ grootblousmile:Yip, with Jean and a nippy JdJ the midfield, who needs a number 5 there? Bekker must do what he does best, as he did right at the end.

Stompies top the conference once again. Will they at least reach the final this time?

The thing is, when a forward gets vital backline ball, it’s almost inevitable that it goes to ground and is not passed….

Good afternoon all.
I see the weather in Bloem was quite frightful.
Stormers scrape another one.
Coca Cola Park was a breeze to ge tinto today, even with CONTINUING roadworks at Gilloolies Interchange.
They’ve only been busy on that piece of road for 4 1/2 years now. GREAT PRODUCTIVITY.

All individualists.

Congratulations to Puma, the biggest superbru climber so far this week!!

Grant maybe. The other two definitely cannot and the Stormers have the track record to prove it.
If HM believed JdV could distribute he would let him play 12. But he does not.

about the conditions for this game …. i’m sorry, but i’ve seen teams play much better rugby in the same conditions. a game that comes to mind is the first bledisloe encounter between the all blacks and wallabies, wellington 1996. conditions was about the same as it was on saturday. final score 43-6 to the all blacks.
why i still remember that game? although the wallabies stuggled to come to terms with the conditions, the all blacks’ first knock-on came after more than 20 minutes in that game. by that time (i think) theyve scored 2 or 3 tries (not sure about that one anymore).
