Cheers all, thanks for the company, off to the presser. Will do a match report in about 10 years, when I get over the loss

  • 242

    Sharks you goodthings

  • 243

For the Boks, Etsebet and Langbek look certainties and of course JdV and Habs. Kolisi had a good game too.

    @ The_Young_Turk:
Yes, good observation by Kickers, too individual by Stormers.

Joe Petersen did his Bok prospects no good. Aplon and JdJ stand a chance on the bench. Right now, I’d put Lambie at full back and Jantjies at flyhalf with Goosen on the bench.

Sal FS en JPP as senterkombinasie wil sien, dink hulle sal kook.

Maar HM het klaar sy kaptein gekies … so ook sy losskakel, of almal gaan saamstem of nie.

    I’m out. Go Sharks!
    Ciao a tutti!

  • 251

Congrats to the Sharks who were clearly the superior side at Newlands today. My side looked and played as if out of their depth and reality they were.

That’s not to say that the Stormers did not have a wonderful season. They performed above all expectations. Not the finished article yet, but that will come.

    Go Sharks!

I watched the game with great friends , Sharkkie…. let me just end with this, I said the Stormers will lose when someone scores more tries than them.

Sadly they did not score enough.

Sharks for coming, I honestly think that it was the best Sharks year , but sadly by next week it wil stil be one team fron SA to take it all the way… BULLLS

    Thanks ……. was missing
sadly my dear WP maatjies go look in the mirror, your buying was sheet, maybe Rassie did mos(that scares the “dinges ” out of me , since he is with HM now trying his luck with the Boks. Sad how decent couches can be snookered my bad assistents. We said it all year , defense ONLY is not Rugby. When you were back to the wall looking for 2 scores , yes then you tried playing Rugby.

SHARKS SHARKS SHARKS SHARKS SHARKS SHARKS

WE DONE IT LIKE I THOUGHT WE WOULD.

WELL DONE TO ALL THS SHARKS PLAYERS.

AWESOME AWESOME. NOW for the long, long flight back to NZ.

Honest when I read this week that every journo said only Stormers can win this tourney, I thought why not the Sharks???? WHY NOT I thought? So many many were against my Sharks. Why? We were playing the best rugby of our lifes for the past few weeks, so had no idea why none gave us a chance. The players have always said if they made the semi they would make the final. So why no-one give us a chance? Hope it came down to bite you okes on the bum….hehe. Man I am so PROUD OF MY TEAM. TRAVEL AND ALL WE ARE THERE. I wonder why the those journoes never ever gave the Sharks credit and said they could be the team to win it for SA????? WHY NOT? Because we have to travel? We are the only team to really be able to win this. Stormers were good, very good to win the conference, but really their game plan would ALWAYS cost them. They would never ever be able to beaat the Chiefs or Saders at home. Sorry that is being honest. Sharks have always been our best bet, but NOT ONE journo had given us the credit for it. Anyhow I don’t care my team are in the FINAL… HEEEHAAA. WE are there travel and all, like I said Sharks were there to win it not just for show. Next week it will be damn tough. The travel just might finally catch up with us, but heck we are there and we CAN win it.

    GO SHARKS… GO SHARKS… GO SHARKS… GO SHARKS…

SO VERY PROUD OF MY TEAM. WORDS JUST CAN’T EXPRESS IT.

WE ARE BLACK WE ARE WHITE WE ARE DYNAMITE!!!!!

    SHARKS FOR EVER.

GOOD LUCK BOYS. JUST DO IT.

    @ fender:
not my place to take any advantage now so YES i will sleep well and wish the Sharks well , History ??? .

  • 258

Wow, what a game… congrats Sharks!

Now go take the title IN New Zealand!

  • 259

Wow, so nice to find a site without all the drama of KEO, and the misguided mongrels patrolling the blogs 🙂

  • 260

A belated congratulations Sharks a really strong end to turn the season around, achieving this in spite of all the travelling involved. It has turned out as expected at the start of the last round of league games – the team ending 6th overcame the travelling factor to take advantage of the less difficult (as expected then from potential opponents) path to the final. Will be excellent for Sharks and all their good fans to take the title next week.

    255 @ Puma:
Really good stuff for you mate, your post just shouts out your happiness . Not really sure why there was all the doubting regarding the Sharks, thought whoever secured the play off draw you did would get to the final, and if you win the final then that would be a BIG bonus, now that you’re there really hope for your sake your boys can do it. To be honest though from reading comments through the season on another site some of your fellow fans have not been as supportive as you during the season, quite a fickle bunch some of them, preseason all that could be read there was how good your players were including the youngsters etc, then by mid season according to them you were rubbish, “coaches didn’t have a clue should be chucked away, captain is rubbish doesn’t have the backing of his players, Kanko and Ludik are no good etc” it was a real strange thing to behold. Sharks got a good pack of forwards and with Freddie on good form not to mention the likes of Pietersen you should put up a good performance in the final, all the best man. Approve
