Finally Stompies score their 2nd try with Jebb Sinclair going over in the corner. Grant converts and it’s 20 -10.

  • 52

Stormers turn down an easy penalty in favour of line out.

  • 53

And Stompies go for the line out again and a long pass to Van der heever and it’s their 3rd try. It’s 27 -10 to the Stormpoppies. Will they go for the 4th?

    Try Shadow!!!!!!!

    @ The_Young_Turk:
How about Grant’s ball distribution and goal kicking? Just what we needed last Saturday….

    Try Shadow!!!!!!!

Franco goes over for the Lions 2nd try from a line out and it’s 27 -17.

    @ Pietman:
Oppas jong, jy’s gelukkig Gbs en Bidibi is nie hier nie Wink

Well deserved victory for the Stompies even with all their injuries.

    Jammer Leeus.

    Nou vir die hoofwedstryd.

    Yip, well played Stormers.
JdeV and Kolisi were very good, I am sure we will see more of the latter on the EOYT.

    @ bdb:

Ja, ek het dieselfde vir die vrou gese met daai hoogvat, die wedstryd was toe nog innie weegskaal, Stormers was gelukkig daar. As die Leeus daar punte gekry het, wie weet……

More diificult for me to post on my phone than the Stormers to score 4 tries in a match….and that says a lot.

  • 62

    @ Pietman:
Yip, Kolisi is a great talent and the sub Quin Roux made more of a difference than Bekker did.

See you guys at Moftus, till later!

I think Grant kicks better than Steyn.

Must say I found the discussions after the Springboks’ (and Morné’s) woeful performance last week, amusing in that Peter Grant was never mentioned … I hope HM has noticed him now. Not that I mind from a selfish point of view – I am not big on top-tier IRB-rugby until they sort the refereeing out in a public manner.

Apart from that, I am happy for the Stormers win … couldn’t watch the match … had to drive to Cape Town and back to Stellies during the match … 🙁

Agree … and what about attacking the line, tackling and tactical kicking?
Obviously Oom Heyneke does not trust him … 🙂
