Declan Kidney has named a 24-man squad for the 2012 Six Nations with six additional players added to their training camp.

Of the 24-man squad, only Shane Jennings failed to make the cut in the 30-man squad for the 2011 World Cup. But alongside the 24 named by Kidney, he has also added six uncapped players to the party with Munster’s Ian Nagle, Peter O’Mahony and Simon Zebo getting the nod alongside Leinster’s Andrew Conway, Connacht’s Tiernan O’Halloran and Ulster’s Paddy McAllister.

Luke Fitzgerald is one of the highest profile absentees as the Leinster winger will have to make do with a spot in the Irish Wolfhounds side. Ulster’s Devin Toner and Leinster’s Eoin O’Malley are also named in the Wolfhounds rather than the full side.
