The log leading MTN Golden Lions have made 3 changes from the side that defeated the Leopards last week for the clash against the Vodacom Blue Bulls this weekend.
After announcing his move to the Pretoria based Union earlier this week, scrumhalf Jano Vermaak was not considered for the clash.
In a total reshuffle of the halfbacks Elton Jantjies returns from the Springbok squad to start in place of Burton Francis who moves to the bench.
Up front, JC Janse van Rensburg returns to the starting side following injury. He takes over at loosehead from Pat Cilliers who also moves to the bench.
Josh Strauss will again lead the team as Doppies la Grange has not recovered sufficiently from a hamstring strain to be considered.
Fullback Jaco Taute is also back from injury and starts off the bench for this important Gauteng derby.
