Blue Bulls bench Chiliboy

Chiliboy Ralepelle has been released for provincial duty by the Springboks and will play off the bench against Griquas on Friday.

The hooker will replace Willie Wepener on the bench in this Currie Cup clash at Loftus Versfeld.

Ralepelle was called up to the Springbok squad this week with fears that John Smit might not be available for the Test match against the All Blacks, after the Bok captain appeared to injured his arm against the Wallabies.

Having been passed fit and recovered from a cold, Smit has been named on the bench for the Boks and Ralepelle is free to get some valuable game time for the Bulls against Griquas.

Blue Bulls: 15 Jurgen Visser, 14 Akona Ndungane, 13 Zane Kirchner, 12 Wynand Olivier, 11 Bjorn Basson, 10 Louis Fouché, 9 Jano Vermaak, 8 CJ Stander, 7 Warwick Tecklenburg, 6 Arno Botha, 5 Juandré Kruger, 4 Flip van der Merwe, 3 Werner Kruger, 2 Gary Botha (captain), 1 Dean Greyling.
Replacements: 16 Chiliboy Ralepelle, 17 Rossouw de Klerk, 18 Gerrit-Jan van Velze, 19 Jono Ross, 20 Dustin Jinka, 21 Marnitz Boshoff, 22 Francois Venter.

    Mmmmm, this one is going to be difficult… Kwas must be licking their lips!

    I like the fact that young Louis Fouche is given a start at Flyhalf… last week on the bench, this week a start. This Oke oozes talent, takes the ball up well and hard, is a big boykie and has a canon for a foot!

    Worried about the loosies… very worried, and they’ll be competing with in form Raubenheimer and his gritty mates.

    Sorry, dit wassie my fout nie, het die Artikel so gekry…. het darem in my Mail vanaf en terug na die Bloubul Unie dit duidelik so gehad dat die game 17:05 is en nie 19:10 nie.
