Penalty Lions after the hooter.
Tap ball. 1m out. Lost forwards. Ball game over.
More disappointment at the Coke Tin. No bonus point for the home side or the visitors.
Not a great advert for Rugby I’m afraid.

Geluk Stormers .
Lyk my ek het 2 heel akurate berigte geplaas die week

2 Stormers kan die jaar een verder gaan

Well done Stormers. But have to say well done to Lions as well. With so many out injured, thought they were going to get a serious hiding, but they came out fighting the fight the whole way. Kept Stormers from getting the bonus point.
Sharks still in the hunt..

Stormers doing exactly what the Bulls were always accused of… winning but winning ugly!

I have all the winners picked so far for the weekend on Bru…

@ grootblousmile:Not a great game to watch, not great weather either for rugby.
But a seriously depleted Lions side kept Stormers from getting a bonus point.

Lions seem to be always just that bit outclassed no matter who the opposition is. Lots of injuries, but that’s no excuse.
Were very poor last week, but most games they’re in it until the end.
Will they comne good with this squad, and will Mitchell get a fair shake to develop the youngsters over a season or two?
Problem as I see it is that with big money investors and sponsors they expect instant results and they’re not getting them.
IF they can keep the nucleus of this squad for next season they may do better, but I (still) think they need a couple of world class experienced players to gel this bunch togethor.

Super, Aplon het ‘n paar swak decisions gemaak vandag, true. Ma ek kies hom steeds bo enigiemand anners oppie oomblik.
April 16th, 2011 at 19:03 SAST
How come the Stormers have another bye, but the Lions haven’t had any yet?
Maybe I’m too stupid to understand Super Rugby.

@ bdb:171 – BdB, If Bulls won all the rest of their games from here they could be in the play offs. It is far too early to call. Believe me things could go wrong for many teams still. Bulls tour almost over. They will beat the Force then have 5 home games at Loftus. If your team wins two on the road they have done well.
For me it is still to early to say who will be there. Reds still have to play Blues and Saders. Saders are the only sure team of making it. Landers have to still play Blues twice. As good as Reds are think Saders will beat them. Well I think they will. Blues could beat Saders again. They did beat Saders at the start but SBW never played in that game.
Just have to wait and see how it goes from here. Injuries too could play a huge role whole makes it to the end.

@ Scrumdown:176 – Sharks only just got their bye this weekend. Crazy some teams have to be dead on their feet before their bye comes. Others had theirs in the 3rd and week already. Stormers had a bye the start of the tourney. Not sure if that was a good thing really. Think they should would out that every team gets by the time they have played 6 games. Sharks had to travel the world and play 8 straight games before getting a bye.
