Currie Cup Predictions

Week 6 Currie Cup predictions. 

Platinum Leopards v Cheetahs14 Aug 19:10  This I think is the easiest call for the weekend. The Leopards are not shaping up in this years currie cup. I don’t think they were expected to. The Cheetahs will have their second concecutive win for the season with maximum points.  

Cheetahs by 25.


Boland Cavaliers v Western Province15 Aug 15:00 Now, on paper WP should win this one easily. They will hope that hisory does not repeat itself this year. I will give WP the heads up on this one. WP by 10.
Griquas v Blue Bulls15 Aug 15:00 I think this is a game that could go either way. The Blue Bulls will have taken last weeks wake up call and worked on their performance. I don’t think they will have enough fire power to beat Griekwas in Kimberly. This is not an easy one to call.  Griekwas by 5.
Lions v Sharks15 Aug 16:05  Another difficult one. I don’t think the Sharks have been playing good rugby in recent months. On the day they can fire on all cilinders though. Seeing that the game is being played at Coca Cola park, I will tip this one in the Lions favor.  Lions by 8.
